Our Mansfield Thiots
After church on Easter Sunday, Ricky, Becky, Brooklyn, Addison, and Harper met up in the bluebonnets for an Easter family photo. Their friend Robyn and her family came too and Robyn took their photo and Ricky took theirs. I love that Bluebonnet Season is usually the same time as Easter. What a sweet spring blessing that is for Texas. We loved having them come for Easter Dinner on Easter. We had 17 people who we love there with us. Ben, Rebecca, Kinsley, Luke, Owen, Jeremiah, Jami, Elizabeth, Skyler, Elinor, Graypa and me. Quite a fun group around our big round table.
Our Medford Granges
Tatia tried to get a family Easter Photo but did not get much cooperation. Charlie decided he did NOT want to be included this time around. Tatia made the kids all aprons for Easter. So fun! I was there when she chose all the fabrics and they loved them.
Turtles for Simon, Rainbows for Gracie, Dinosaurs for Charlie, Outer space of Oscar, Sock Monkey's for Max, and darling green print for Penny. Love these great helpers!
She was great at peeling boiled eggs to help Graypa make the delicious deviled eggs
We took a trip to Princeton to have an easter egg hunt with her friends, Ella and Evie. We had a great time together!
We had three extra boiled eggs and Elinor turned them into the cutest easter egg fish I have ever seen. So fun!
We got home in time to get ready for Easter Sunday. I love Easter and instead of decorating with bunny's and chicks this year, I wanted to feel more of the real reason for Easter. Silly Bunny's, Easter is for Jesus! On the fireplace is the Diorama our Primary gave the the families this year. I love Kate Lee's art work.
I love my He is Risen Rock that Miss Penny painted for me while we were in Medford visiting. I found this rock on the coast and she did a beautiful job turning it into Easter. I LOVE how beautiful it turned out. Thanks Penny!
Last year our Primary made the Easter story for our Primary famlies. I loved getting that out again and rememberin what fun we had putting those together.
My Easter Nativity is one of my favorite things too. How I love to remember the Easter Story and all that Jesus did for me.
Our Folsom Thiots

We Plano Thiots
There had been a lot of rain since the burial and the girls joked that they had purchased a lake side plot. The flowers still had a bit of pink left on them and that made us happy.
Early Saturday morning, we picked up Lisa and Letitia Raxter and headed to Corsicana to their mama's grave. They had invited Dick to dedicate the grave and so we went on Easter Eve to do that. It was kind of a gloomy morning, but very peaceful at the cemetery.
We were glad we could go with them and Dick was happy to dedicate the final resting place for their parents.
We stopped at the Collin Street Bakery on the way back and this 1958 Corvette was parked out front. That put a smile on Dick's face. A dream machine for him for sure.
Everyone got to choose a treat, Lisa picked a declious brownie and Letitia a slice of chocolate pound cake, Dick got a sausage kolichi and I got a lemon bar. Oh my nobody was disappointed. Yum! All the billboards adversiting the bakery were correct. It was tasty! We were glad we could go with them and Dick was happy to dedicate the final resting place for their parents.

Our next stop was at Bucees. WOWSERS! They make the most giant briskit sandwiches and roasted turkey sandwiches. We had to try the bucees chips too. It was a fun stop. We stopped by the Dallas Temple distribution center for our last stop before delivering the girls home. It was a nice day together.
