Our Mansfield Thiots

What a great weekend it was to celebrate Dick's 66th Birthday along side of the Byran Nelson Golf Tournament.  For the past several years it has been hosted at Craig Ranch Golf Course and that is right across the street from Dick's office.  He loved having the Sky and Ricky join him on his birthday.
Becky's Relief Society Activity was celebrating with a Cinco de Mayo flare.  I loved her Pinata she made.  Much tooo cute to smash up.
Addison sent me a photo of her banana Split that she made for Graypa's birthday dinner dessert.  Harper was not feeling good so they celebrated at their home. We missed them a LOT!
Ricky and the girls loved spoiling Becky on Sunday for Mothers Day! I'm happy to report that Harper is feeling better and went back to school on Monday.  The last few weeks of school have been crazy busy with testing and projects due.  Best wishes girls!

Our Medford Granges

Penny Celebrated her 12th Birthday on May 2nd and she ordered a cat cake.  Tatia made this darling cake with kitties that look just like Penny's, Lucy and Ethyl.  Super cute and delicous!
Mary Poppins was this week and I love how excited Max was to be in the play.  He had three roles: a statue, a kid flying a kite and a bank teller.  He did great and had a blast!
Penny was the darling housekeeper and cook.  She loves acting and had such a fun time.
She had friends come to the play to watch and spoiled her with some flowers.
Bumpa came to the play too.  He LOVED it!
I love this picture of Max and Bumpa catching up on a book during a break in time.
Max was trying to figure out where all his flowers were, just kidding he's awesome, no flowers needed

Our Folsom Thiots

Liam Turned 16 on May 2nd.  He and Penny are our Birthday twins in May.  Happy Birthday Liam!
Callum had has STEAM evening and loved showing all the things he'd learned this year.  Sixth graders come in all sizes.  I love Callum and his buddy

Our Orem Thiots

What a week this was.  I'm so happy to report that Adelaide and Jackson  are feeling better and had a great success on the Children's Business Fair sponsored by the SLOPE School.  Adelaide sold her Poppy Pottery again this year and her orders grew and grew.  She's amazing. This was Jackson's first year and he sponsored a SHAVED ICE booth.  Boy can that boy make great Shaved Ice.  They were so grateful for their neighbor who let them borrow his truck.
I Love this photo of Jackson playing on his play rug.  I made this for Jackson when he turned 3 years old, he's turning 7 soon and still enjoys playing on it.  That made me smile!
Pierce plays a game with him where he gives him locations of places to go and things to do at those locations.  I love that!
Can you believe the new River that has come to their park.  The snow pack is a melting and a new river makes life even more fun.

Our Upstairs Thiots

Our Dallas Zoo had a sad happening this last week.  Shortly before Elinor was born, a baby boy Elephant joined out Zoo family.  A couple of weeks ago, he contacted an illness that no matter how hard they tried to make him well, it just couldn't happen.
He passed away and left a sad spot in our hearts. Skyler and Elinor have seen him nearly every week of his life.
They are going to miss him a lot.
I loved all these fun photos we had of him.

I love this photo of Elinor who is hanging onto a statue of an elephant.  That girl is strong and very flexible.  She loved that sweet little guy. I loved printing his pictures and putting them upstairs on the table to remember him.

We Plano Thiots

Dick and I celebrated our 44th wedding anniversary on May 3rd.  That's a lot of years and it was so nice to remember all the that has happened.
Then just 10 days later, Dick celebrated his 66th Birthday.  We really wanted to go take a drive on Route 66 and hope to do that sometime this year together.
Skyler and I treated him to breakfast at one of our favorite spots, The Waffle House.
They make the smoothest grits that Dick loves especially on his birthday!
Mothers Day was so fun this year.  Ben and Rebecca invited us to join them at their home with their family. There boys love my rolls and so I got to bring those for dinner
They have some exciting news in their family about a new job for Ben.  I'm trying to be excited for them as it requires a move to the Great State of UTAH!  We will miss them a LOT!  They have been in Texas for almost 20 years. We've adopted them right into our family.  Jen gifted me this fun Mothers Day bunting last year for Mothers Day when we were together at Tatia's home.  I had given this apron to Aunt Marie and when she passed away, Michelle brought it to me when she came earlier this month.
Such a fun place for breakfast.  We love Wendy and Jeff who work there and always take such great care of Sky and Elinor when they frequent the Waffle House on the weekends.  They were disappointed that we didn't have Elinor with us.  They love her too.
Skyler shot this great photo of our Waffle House as we were leaving.  YUM!
Shawn Bradley was number 44 when he played for the Mavericks.  I love that Charlie sent us this picture for our 44th anniversary!

As you can tell, it's been quite  a couple of weeks for us.  I'm glad to be catching up and I am thankful for all the goodness that we've been blessed with this week.  SLY Robynn

How fun that Max and Penny got to be in Mary Poppins! I'll bet they were wonderful! It looked like Jackson was wearing the same outfit he had on in the first picture. Such a cute little guy!
